Yesterday was a busy day with lots of surprises. It started when I woke up to loud thunder outside. I looked out the window and saw dark clouds. I decided to stay inside, made tea, and read a book.
Then, my friend called and asked me to go to a new café downtown for brunch. I quickly got ready and went out, even though it was raining.
At the café, we had yummy food and talked a lot. After brunch, we went to some shops. I found a special book in a bookstore and bought it.
Outside, we saw many people watching a painter make a pretty picture on a wall. It was exciting to watch.
When we got back home, we tried painting ourselves. We had fun painting and trying new things.
In the evening, we ordered pizza and watched a movie. It was a nice way to end the day.
